1 Scope

This part of ISO 22745 is a specialization of ISO/TS 29002-31 that specifies the requirements for queries for ISO 22745 compliant master data. The conceptual model is in Unified Modeling Language (UML). The physical file format is based on Extensible Markup Language (XML).

The following are within the scope of this part of ISO 22745:

• specification of a conceptual model for queries for master data;

  NOTE 1  The conceptual model is defined in ISO/TS 29002-31 and referenced with constraints in this part of ISO 22745.

• specification of an exchange format for queries for master data.

  NOTE 2  The exchange format is defined in ISO/TS 29002-31 and referenced with constraints in this part of ISO 22745.

The following are outside the scope of this part of ISO 22745:

• specification of a conceptual model and exchange format for dictionary data;

  NOTE 3  These are specified in ISO/TS 22745-10.

• specification of a query interface for dictionary data;

  NOTE 4  This is specified in ISO/TS 22745-14.

• specification of a conceptual model and exchange format for identification guides;

  NOTE 5  These are specified in ISO/TS 22745-30.

• specification of a conceptual model and exchange format for characteristic data.

  NOTE 6  These are specified in ISO/TS 22745-40.
